Summary FY 2006.
* The 2005 125th Street River-to River Study indicated that “strengthen the regions business was needed
for further gentrification of the area”.
 * The city plans to rezone areas East Harlem and  Fredrick Douglass Boulevard in hopes of attracting
housing developers.
* In 2006 the city will begin renovation and expansion of the Harlem Piers.
